Designing Sustainable Sanitation and Water Management (SSWM) Projects
6-Day Afternoon Online Training Course

7. – 12. August 2021, Iraq

This online training applies a blended learning approach in which in-class time is used to explore topics in greater depth, collaborate in online discussions and create meaningful learning opportunities with the guidance of experts, while you are initially introduced to new topics outside of the classroom using pre-class videos and other types of self-study materials.

As this training is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), participation is subsidised.

This 6-day afternoon online training course is specifically designed to support you and your organisation in conceptualising and designing a local SSWM intervention. The workshop uniquely incorporates theoretical learning and hands-on application of contents to a real-life SSWM project idea of yours. This online training enables you to fully exploit the benefits of the SSWM Toolbox and develop a thorough understanding of selected planning tools, when applying them to a real-life SSWM project idea of yours.

Training days: August 7th – August 12th 2021 (13:00 – 17:00 hours)
Training Format: virtual, afternoon sessions
